At Coláiste Acla we pride ourselves on providing excellent accommodation. Our accommodation providers are all Garda vetted, Roinn na Gaeltachta approved and we provide 24 hour supervision.

Accommodation is provided with Bean an Tí or in Cáibín, our purpose built Coláiste Accommodation situated on the Coláiste campus.

Cáibín is comprised of 10 ensuite bedrooms.  Each bedroom accommodates maxinum of 6 students.

Preferences for accommodation type Bean an Tí  / Cáibín will be noted in the application process but the Coláiste cannot guarantee that all accommodation preferences are met. Equal care will be provided in both settings.

Please note that when making a preference for accommodation type (Bean an Ti or Cáibín) this is a preference not a guarantee. While every effort is made to ensure accommodation, preferences are met it may not be possible to do so in all cases. In such cases the Colaiste will allocate accommodation as it sees fit.

Our aim is to provide accommodation of equal quality in both Bean an tí and Cáibín

Large groups of over 3 will not be accommodated in the same house. The Coláiste reserve the right to accommodate students as it sees fit.

Friends are accommodated in groups of 2/3 based on the information provided in application forms. While we endeavour to accommodate friends together this is not always possible. If applying with friends, we kindly request that preferences are organised prior to application and are clearly stated on the application.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and supper are provided and special dietary requirements are catered for. Healthy and hearty meals are served daily by the Bean an Tí, whose priority and mission it is to ensure that every student is warm, comfortable, well fed and secure. Please let us know on the application form if a student has a specific dietary requirement.
