Summer Courses:

Our vastly experienced staff are the heart of the Coláiste Acla experience. All staff are Garda vetted. All múinteoirí (instructors/teachers) are Dept. of Education approved and have vast experience of primary, junior and leaving certificate courses. Pupil - Teacher Ratios are less than 20:1 in class and 8:1 on the water. All accommodation is Roinn na Gaeltachta approved.

An Teanga Beo

Is í an Ghaeilge gnáth theanga an cheantar seo agus tá an teanga mar chroí lár an Choláiste. Bíonn na scolairí sáite sa timpeallacht seo agus ag foghlaim i ngan fhios dóibh féin. Caithfidh gach scoláire a dhícheall a dhéanamh leis an teanga agus cur le dea-atmaisféar an Choláiste. Bain trial as, déan iarracht maith agus feicfidh tú toradh do chuid oibre agus tú ag filleadh abhaile. Nil sé ró-dheacair!

Cuireann muid an-bhéim ar an nGaeilge labhartha ar bhealach spraoiúil chun suim a spreagadh san teanga. At Coláiste Acla we adopt the communicative approach to the teaching of Irish, placing great emphasis on speaking the language. Courses with special focus on the Leaving Cert, Junior Cert,6th class/First Year are provided. Our curriculum is delivered and prepared by our qualified and experienced teaching staff in small classes. Our classes are tailored to reflect the increased emphasis on Oral Irish in the Leaving Cert curriculum. Comprehensive notes and sample answers are also provided. 1. Focus on oral exam topics and techniques, to include -sraith pictiúir -oral fluency -perfecting communication skills 2. Grammatical accuracy 3. Mastering writing skills 4. Exam answering techniques
