    The Colaiste Acla Experience

Situated in the Achill Gaeltacht, our magnificent setting gives immediate access to some of the country’s most popular Blue Flag beaches, mountains and cycle tracks. Coláiste Acla offers residential and non-residential multi-activity courses designed to stimulate, educate and motivate primary and secondary school pupils.

Our courses are delivered as Gaeilge, as Bearla or both depending on your requirements. Our Irish speaking staff are trained and qualified to the highest levels and we have over fifteen years experience working with young people.

We keep participants busy and supervised from breakfast to bedtime with a huge variety of land, water and social activities. Leaders have the freedom to enjoy the Coláiste Acla experience at their own pace. First class facilities, unique location, dedicated staff, and an exciting blend of activities all help to create an exciting and safe tour.

    Outcomes/Toradh do chuid oibre

    • Personal qualities - initiative, self-reliance, responsibility & perseverance are demonstrably improved.
    • Key skills such as communication, leadership, problem solving & teamwork are developed.
    • Increased motivation & appetite for learning can lead to raised levels of attainment in other aspects of education.
